Jack Ayres
Jack Ayres is a Welsh-born actor and voice actor, known for his work across various video game titles such as Black Myth Wukong, Baldur's Gate III, Wuthering Waves, Duet Night Abyss, Dragon Quest, Karma: The Dark World, Diablo Immortal, Arknights and many more, having worked on over 100 games as of 2025.
Originally from Cardiff, South Wales, Ayres went on to study on the BA Acting course at East 15 Acting School. Upon graduating, he went on to work in a variety of mediums including plays, musicals, comedy and improvisation alongside National Theatre Wales, Welsh National Opera, News Revue, Dirty Protest, The Tabard Theatre and more.
Around 2017, Ayres shifted his focus primarily toward voice acting, a medium that allowed him to use his wide vocal range, love of character work and storytelling instincts. Since then, he has become a prolific voice actor featuring as both a lead and supporting actor across games, animation and commercials, ranging from AAA to indie.
His stand out performances include the main companion character Zhu Bajie in Black Myth Wukong, protagonist in horror/thriller game Karma: The Dark World, Benji the Circus Ghoul and Fist Reynash in Baldurs Gate III, Phantasio in Duet Night Abyss, Mirage, Sky-Byte & Scorponok in animated series Transformers Cyberworld and the Male Druid in Diablo Immortal.
With his versatile voice that spans a breadth of tones and accents, married up with his background in drama and improv, Ayres brings nuance, energy and emotional depth to every performance while also remaining dedicated to turning words into worlds.
