Dominique Tipper
Dominique Tipper is a British actor, singer and dancer, best known for her acclaimed portrayal of Naomi Nagata in The Expanse (Syfy/Amazon Prime), a role she played across six seasons, and more recently the role of Brenda Holland in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (Apple TV).
Tipper’s early work includes appearing in the film adaptation of hit young adult novel Vampire Academy (2014), Fast Girls (2012), Death in Paradise (2015), The Girl with All the Gifts (2016), Fantastic Beasts an Where to Find Them (2016) and Monday (2020).
This was followed by Tipper’s performance as Kelly in Headhunters. However, it is her role in The Expanse across six seasons that has made her most recognisable to Sci-Fi fans. Her performance in the series earned praise for its emotional depth and portrayal of resilience in a high-concept sci-fi world. Tipper also served as a producer for the final season of the show.
More recently, Tipper has taken on stag roles in Union at the Arcola Theatre and GrenFell: In The Words of the Survivors at St. Anne’s Warehouse – both performances receiving praise for their impact. This was followed by an appearance opposite Thomas Jane and John Malkovic in One Ranger, and her portrayal of the wife of Moses, Zipporah, in Testament: The Story of Moses.
As well as appearing on screen and her work as a producer, Tipper also directed (as well as produced) her own short film, Trying To Find Me. The short was well-received, being part of the official selection for a number of international film festivals.
Dominique will also appear in the second season of Apple TV’s Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, reprising her villainous role of Brenda Holland from season one.
