Zahra Ahmadi
Zahra Ahmadi is a British actor with credits spanning television, stage and voiceover. Audiences will recognise Ahmadi as DS Esther Williams in the BBC crime drama Beyond Paradise, as well as for her breakout role as Shabnam Masood in EastEnders.
Over the years, Ahmadi has also made notable appearances in acclaimed series such as Doctor Who, Black Mirror, Count Arthur Strong, The Bay, Death in Paradise, Britz, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret and Berlin Station, among others.
On the big screen, her credits include roles in Tamara Drewe and Closed Circuit, working alongside some of the industry’s most respected directors and cast.
In addition to her on-screen work, Ahmadi is no stranger to the stage, having performed in productions for the Sheffield Crucible, Out Of Joint, The Old Red Lion, Soho Theatre and the world-renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Her performances have garnered praise for their emotional clarity and command of language.
