Felicity Montagu
Felicity Montagu is an English actress and comedian known for her work across television, film and radio, recognised for her long-running role as Lynn Benfield, the fiercely loyal assistant to Alan Partridge, in the beloved British comedy franchise created by Steve Coogan. Montagu is also widely known for her role as Margo Martins in the BBC crime drama Beyond Paradise.
Montagu trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art before beginning her career in theatre and television comedy. Her early screen work included appearances in British television series such as The Bill, Coronation Street and Peak Practice, showcasing her talent for both comedic and dramatic roles.
Her breakthrough came when she was cast as Lynn Benfield in the BAFTA-winning comedy series, I’m Alan Partridge. As Partridge’s endlessly patient assistant, Montagu became a fan favourite, reprising the role across multiple instalments of the Alan Partridge universe including Mid Morning Matters, This Time with Alan Partridge and several live and radio productions.
In recent years, Montagu has continued to appear regularly on British television, including roles in Doc Martin, Black Ops, and The Durrells. Moat recently, Felicity can be seen as fan favourite Margo Martins in the hit BBC spin-off crime drama Beyond Paradise.
